We want After Five to be a great place to get together after work. Absolutely everyone is welcome, as long as we follow these short, simple rules:

Forum

#1 - No outside linking or advertising (except for blog links in signatures)
#2 - Blinkies in signatures welcome, as long as rule #1 is followed.
#3 - No hostility. Period.
#4 - Spam will earn you a permanent place in the "banned" usergroup.

Galleries

#1 - Layouts must be 75% (or more) A5D product
#2 - 5 uploads maximum per 24 hour period
#3 - maximum filesize of 200K
#4 - please leave the "Recipes" category for our creative team only
#5 - don't forget to leave comments on the layouts that you love!
#6 - NO off-side linking! (So no links to other sites)

Notice a few people are entering layouts from other designers, Amy....not A5D designers. That's not right, right? Don't want to sound ucky, but I thought the rule has always been 75% A5D. Why am I writing this? Sheesh! I don't know. It's not that I care, ...I just noticed a few this a.m. and wondered if the rules had changed?

Is there a requirement for posts before you are allowed to upload LOs to the gallery?

Are mixologist categories strictly only for CT members? I ask because I'm not sure how anyone views Members' Gallery pics without having to look them up alphabetically - I mistakenly placed my first lo's in the mixologist galleries, but have now relocated them to 'Members' - not even sure I'll find them again, lol. Thanks

Pinkerbell, I don't know of any hard and fast rule! I love to look through the mixologist galleries to see what can be done using their products. I personally have no problem with anyone posting their layouts in mine. And I don't think that it's a problem for other designers as well. :)

Thank you Kristin - I originally posted my lo's in the relevant mixologist galleries, but then read this from jsgus on another thread:

"Mixologists' section is for each individual designer's ct members to post their pages in"

I'm still not sure whether I can post in the Designers' categories - As I'm not a member of any CT, I have since relocated all my lo's to the Members' galleries - which seem to be a little neglected, if I'm honest. Thank you so much for your prompt reply - it feels a little like a ghost town on these forums, lol. Hopefully, an admin may be able to clarify this point?? :pray

Yeah, that is a really old post! I think that we definitely need to clarify. It hasn't ever been discussed in the 2 years that I've been at After Five, but I also agree with you that it should be clarified. I'll let you know! :)

I have edited the other post to which you referred to remove the line that requires members to post only in the Challenge or Inspiration Galleries. Anyone is welcome to post their layouts in the Mixologist's galleries as well.
