Ok, so I've counted it up... since September 4, I have had five trips, three by plane, two by car. Two were overnighters for work, one for 4 days, and two for a week. Overall, I've spent 17 days away either en route or away from home....that's almost three weeks! I'm so glad to be home!!!!!!!
I do have one more weekend getaway, but that's it. The major ones are over. We took the kids on a Disney cruise this week, so no cell phone or internet. (Well...they had an "internet cafe", but it was $.75 a minute. I love you guys, but there were other...um....things to spend money on. **hiccup**)
Anyway, I did manage to get three or four layouts done on the trip. My super-wonderful hubby bought me a adapter so I could plug my laptop into the car for the 10-hour drive to Port Canaveral. So sweet. The only problem is that being stuck in a car that long is not healthy for the mojo...
The Disney cruise was so absolutely fabulous...I highly recommend it. In true Disney style, it was over the top with so much stuff to do it could make your head spin. I even had my picture made with Captain Jack Sparrow and... oh, girls...um....let's just say they did a great job picking out a Depp look-alike. I was almost giggling when I walked up to him! Don't worry, I'll send you the picture...right after I have my six-foot poster made for the back of my closet door. :giggle
Soooooooo...back home and back to work today. Tomorrow starts a busy weekend of catching up with housework and stuff. We have about 5 ka-billion leaves in the front yard and my dust-bunny friends have formed an army and are currently plotting an attack. I even think they've enlisted a swat team of spiders to help. We should be safe for one more night, but if you don't hear from me tomorrow, have someone check to see if we've been duct-taped to our beds...LOL!!
I've missed the chatter. Hope you are all doing well. I can't wait to get into the gallery and see what all y'all have been up to!
