Hmmm....

I like cosmos or a good Level vodka martini. For wine I like shiraz...especially if it's an Australian. Or....

a Bud Light.

I'm white collar liquor, blue collar beer!

mostly red wines, Corona (nothing like a good beer on a hot summer day!) but a mixed drink would definitely be a Long Island Ice Tea.

Hmmm....for me it depends. Different drinks go with different occasions and different foods. My favorite "food" drink is a good cabernet or merlot. Unless it's fish. White wine is better with fish. For dessert, chocolate martinis are always good, but nothing goes with creme brulee like a shot of good amaretto in a brandy glass!

Speaking of amaretto, I learned something the other day. By law, liquors can only call it "amaretto" if it's a product of Italy (like they do with champagne vs. "sparkling wine"). So the most popular amarettos, like Disaronno, are actually NOT amarettos. They are "Italian liquors." Which explains why I am not a fan of Disaronno. Anyway, your Spirit Tip of the Day! :p

Now, as far as cocktails, I like almost any martini (not too dirty). But my all-time favorite is a Grey Goose Martini, no vermouth, straight up. For obvious reasons, I don't have this very often! :lol My go-to drink is always a vodka tonic, with lime.

Wow! That was a long answer!

Oh my, I wish it were that easy! For me, it depends on what mood I'm in.

For a hot summer day, I love a cold beer. If I'm eating chips and guac, I definitely need a margarita. If I'm hanging with the girls, I'll take a red wine - usually merlot. I really liked Amy's answer and the amaretto lesson.
