Please tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Erika, I am 33 years old, I have one son Tim / 4 years / and I come from Slovakia. I live in the capital city of Czech republic Prague.
What is a typical day like for you ?
My typical day is : Every morning I take my son to nursery school, then I come home, cook something, clean up and sit on the computer and start to work. In the afternoon we usually go outside and at night when all go sleep I once again sit at the computer and I’m usually here until 1:00 – 2:00 morning lol. Ordinary boring day.
How did you get into designing ?
I discovered scrap on a forum for moms 5 years ago. I started scrap with freebies, and then I started to create my own freebies. I’ve always wanted sell my kits and my dream was fulfilled. Now I sell my products at the best shop under the sun
How long does it take for you to design a kit ?
Usually if I have an idea, material, and so, so one kit lasts about one week or longer.
What inspires you ?
I am inspire with everything, nature, movies, songs, something happens during the day or I see on TV. Really everything.
Do you have a specific style ?
My style is mostly natural but I love to draw too. Therefore I always try combine these two styles together. I think I have always mix styles in one kit and I love this so much.
Do you have a vision of what a kit will look like when you start it ?
Sometimes I have perfect vision about my kit and sometimes I start with name only without any idea of what it will look like !
Who are your scrapping/designing heros ?
Hmm, this is very difficult question…because I love a many girls from my creative team for example Véro, Dolce Vita or Serena but there are so many scrappers I love and admire !
What is your favorite NSBR thing to do ?
I like to bake cakes, I love to read books, photograph, drinking coffee and laze and latest mania is Zumba dance.
What did you want to be when you grew up ?
Oh honestly? I don’t remember
And no After 5 interview would be complete without this question…What is your favorite after hours drink ?
My total favorite drink is red wine, preferably Chianti or Cabernet Sauvignon I can not imagine an evening without a glass of red wine. Not, I’m really not an alcoholic lol
